Green Eggs & LAM is a grassroots organization whose goal is to raise awareness and funds for Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (or "LAM" for short), a rare and devastating lung disease that affects women only.  Our organization is led by Catherine Lawrence, an inspiring and brave woman who was diagnosed with LAM in 2006.

Living with an illness is no laughing matter, and supporting a loved one with a serious illness can be extremely challenging.  We hope to help anyone faced with a challenging situation and inspire them to laugh, dream and never lose hope.

The May 18th, 2010 Havergal College
concert & VIP reception was a
HUGE success!!!

On Tuesday May 18th, 2010 Green Eggs & LAM held our most exciting event yet.  Hundreds of excited high school students gathered on the field outside Havergal College for a high energy evening of the finest Canadian rock & roll, courtesy of bands The Midway State, The Stills, The Bend Sinister, Monday Rose and some exceptional student talent.

Not to miss out on an opportunity to party themselves, the grown-ups meanwhile gathered at Havergal Principal Dr. Sue Groesbeck's residence nearby for a fun & fascinating VIP cocktail reception, where they enjoyed great food & drink, amazing company, and the knowledge that they were making incredible positive change happen for LAM research just by buying a ticket and showing up.

Both events were inspiring, educational, fun and unique.  The Green Eggs & LAM team was tremendously humbled and honoured by the energy, commitment, generosity and kindness shown by everyone who attended and everyone else involved. 

As a result of the generosity of all who attended and
contributed at the spectacular May 18th events, we managed to raise $60,000 for the cause, with the funds going directly to the William L. Stanford Stem Cell Research Lab.  This has brought us to a cumulative total of more than $200,000 raised in support of some of the most innovative and groundbreaking medical research in the world.

None of these incredible accomplishments would have been possible without the overwhelming generosity that has been shown by our sponsors, our donors, volunteers, the brilliant doctors, and all our friends, family and others who gave of their time and money to come out to these events.  A very special thanks goes out to the administration, students & faculty of Havergal College - especially Principal, Dr. Sue Groesbeck.

We wish to extend our sincerest thanks to all those who
